“Khmer – Thai Fight” takes place at National Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh this coming Saturday November 25. The event is expected to feature some of the most notable fighters of the current era of Muay Thai.
The match ups of the upcoming show have not yet been officially announced. However, alongside the revealed names of the Thai stars, as well as the representative of the country-host, the roster reportedly includes the fighters out of Brazil, Norway and Russia. The likes of Saenchai PKSaenchaimuaythaigym, PTT Petchrungrueng, Saensatharn PK Saenchai, Sudsakorn Sor Klinmee, Youssef El Hadmi are expected to battle out at the event.
“Khmer – Thai Fight” is dedicated to promote the relationship of Thailand and Cambodia, as well as to penetrate AEC market and boost Thailand’s tourism. The event is televised on Pnn TV in Cambodia, starting at 6:00 pm local time. The show has been also announced to air live in Thailand, from 6.20 pm to 8:00 pm on Channel 3, 33 and from 8:00 pm to 9.45 pm on Channel 28.
Muay Thai, also known as the Art of Eight Limns, is an age-old martial arts originating from Thailand. Kun Khmer or Pradal Serey is a martial art from Cambodia, translated as “Free Fighting”.
