The Battle 17 by WKN

The Battle 17 by WKN takes place at Taekwondo Olympic Arena in Athens on Sunday December 10. The event is the following edition of the world-class promotions by Stefanos Konstantinidis.

On Friday World Kickboxing Network topped up the fight bill with two additional bouts. Welterweight Alexandros Mavromatidis faces his Greek-fellow Thanasis Karousos in a three-round kickboxing contest, while Bosnian boxer Adnan Hadzihajdic takes on the previously announced middleweight representative of the country-host Dimitris Xerikos.

The Battle 17 features a series of international bouts in kickboxing, boxing and MMA, with WKN title challenged on the night. The fight card includes middleweight Meletis Kakoumpavas up against Slovak Pavol Garaj in a three-round kickboxing clash. As well, Greek Mixed Martial Artist Andreas Michailidis battles out for WKN International belt, facing off an opponent whose name is expected to be announced in the coming days.

The likes of Sofia Karga and Petros Vardakas also reportedly partake in the event. The names of their opponents as well as other match ups are expected to be announced in the near future. We will have more information as soon as it becomes available. The current lineup can be found below.
