The Battle 17 by WKN is held on Sunday December 10 at Taekwondo Olympic Arena in Athens. The event presented by Stefanos Konstantinidis is the next edition of the world-class promotions in Greece, concluding the year. The fight card features the A-list representatives of the country-host up against international opponents.

On Monday World Kickboxing Network announced the name of the opponent, facing the previously announced Greek Mixed Martial Artist Andreas Michailidis (9-3). Slovakian middleweight Tomas Bolo (4-5) is the second challenger for WKN international belt.

The resume of Bolo includes the victories against Kalman Kovacs, Michal Dobias, among others. He has also faced the likes of Michal Kotalik, Matus Dudrik, Damian Skarzynski.

The Battle 17 also includes a super welterweight clash between local kickboxer Meletis Kakoumpavas and Slovak Pavol Garaj, as well as the all-Greek welterweight contest between Alexandros Mavromatidis and Thanasis Karousos. In addition, Greek middleweight boxer Dimitris Xerikos takes on Bosnian Adnan Hadzihajdic.

Petros Vardakas and Sofia Karga also reportedly partake in the event. The names of their opponents and other match ups are expected to be announced in the coming days. The current lineup can be found below.
