Kickboxing Glory 48 at MSG – weigh-in results

Kickboxing event Glory 48 is held tonight, Friday December 1, at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York. The program comprises ten bouts, with two titles challenged on the night.

In the main event at Glory 48 New York Kevin VanNostrand faces Anvar Boynazarov. The pair battles out for the interim featherweight belt. At the official weigh-in ceremony conducted on Thursday, VanNostrand showed 64.5 kg. Boynazarov was 64.7 kg.

The fight card also includes the four-man middleweight tournament. In one of the semi-finals Wayne Barrett (83.2 kg) goes up against Robert Thomas (83.8 kg). In another, Mike Lemaire (84.8 kg) takes on Matt Baker (84.7 kg).

In the main event at Glory 48 Super Fight Series Tiffany van Soest defends her super bantamweight title against Anissa Meksen. On the scales the champion showed 54.5 kg. The challenger was 54.7 kg.

Also on the card the middleweight battle between Chris Camozzi (84.1 kg) and Kyle Weickhardt (84.2 kg). As well, Elvis Gashi (69.2 kg) meets Nate Richardson (69.6 kg) at lightweight.

In addition Ivan Galaz squares off against Paul Banasiak in the middleweight tournament reserve bout. Both fighters weighed-in at 84.2 kg. The complete fight card and weigh-in results can be found below.
