World Kickboxing Network commences 2018 with eight events featured on the calendar

Prestigious sports governing body World Kickboxing Network starts a new season with eight events already featured on the calendar. In 2017 the organization has held over hundred international events across the Globe. To date, the next year’s roster includes the promotions in Japan, France, Bulgaria, Northern Ireland, Spain, Slovakia and Australia.

It all begins in Japan as early as on January 3 when Ganryjima 9 takes place at Maihama Amphitheater in Tokyo. Up next is Nuit des Gladiateurs on January 13 in Marseilles, headlined by WKN international match up between French super lightweight Eddy Nait Slimani and Charlie Peters of England.

The final round of Girl Power Kickboxing airs live on TV on February 9 from Stara Zagora, Bulgaria, preceding ProKick international kickboxing event in Belfast, Northern Ireland scheduled for February 17. It is followed by Spanish MMA event Hombres de Honor 92 held on February 18 in Madrid.

MMA returns to Spain on March 10 with Hombres de Honor 93 held on Canary Islands. Furthermore, Simply the Best Kickboxing commences the fourth season with Episode 18 produced in Poprad, Slovakia on March 16.

The eighth event presented on WKN calendar to date, is Domination 20 scheduled for June 2 in Perth. It appears as the most anticipated Australian Muay Thai promotion of the year.

This passing year 12 World and 8 European champions were crowned. Two World Championship events have been as well already scheduled for 2018. Kickboxing series Simply the Best 18 Poprad features “Slovakian Giant” Tomas Mozny battling out for heavyweight title on March 16, while “The Weapon” Toby Smith headlines Domination Muay Thai 20, contesting for middleweight belt in his hometown Perth on June 2.
