Miss Dynamite: Laetitia Madjene
Laetitia Madjene is one of the trending names of the women’s kickboxing made-in France. “Miss Dynamite” from Montpellier stands shoulder to shoulder with such stars as Amel Dehby and Mallaury Kalachnikoff.
Last season Madjene took part in the “Kunlun Fight” single-elimination tournament at the 61 kg weight division. Joining the roster on a short notice, the “wild card”, earned a unanimous decision against Canadian Candice Mitchell in the quarter-final. She then similarly defeated Dutch Anissa Haddaoui in the semi-final. As a result, Madjene was expected to take on Chinese Wang Kehan in the championship round, but the bout fell off.
On Wednesday World Kickboxing Network announced that Madjene vs. Kehan bout was rescheduled for Kunlun Fight 69 as a “super fight”. The event takes place on February 4 in Chinese city Guiyang.
“French prominent kickboxer out of ‘Dynamite Centre’, Laetitia Madjene starts the 2018 season on February 4. Fighting out of Jacou, proche de Montpellier, France, the representative of WKN Top Team faces Chinese Wang Kehan at Kunlun Fight 69 held in Guiyang, China,” stated in the announcement.
The Madjene vs. Kehan fight is scheduled for three rounds at the 63 kg weight class.
