UFC 220 Miocic vs Ngannou

UFC 220 takes place at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts on Sunday January 21. The event is headlined by a pair of championship bouts, featuring heavyweight Stipe Miocic up against Francis Ngannou, and light heavyweight Daniel Cormier face off Volkan Oezdemir.

At the official weigh-in ceremony conducted the day before the event the defending heavyweight champion Miocic showed 246 pounds. Ngannou weighed-in at 263 pounds.

Stepping on the scales the reigning light heavyweight titleholder Cormier was 205 pounds. Oezdemir showed the same.

Also on the main card live on Pay-Per-View Calvin Kattar (145.5) goes up against Shane Burgos (146) at featherweight, and Gian Villante (206) meets Francimar Barroso (205) at light heavyweight. In addition, Thomas Almeida (135.5) battles out against Rob Font (136) at bantamweight.

The preliminary card comprises four bouts, following the two-fight early prelims program on UFC Fight Pass. The strawweight bout between Maryna Moroz and Jamie Moyle expected on the early prelims card was cancelled when the latter was forced to withdraw due to injury.
