Muay Thai star Buakaw Banchamek faces Congolese welterweight Nayanesh Ayman on Sunday February 4 in Guiyang. The pair headlines Chinese kickboxing event Kunlun Fight 69, which airs live on FITE Pay-Per-View.

Dubbed as “Muay Thai celebrity”, Buakaw Banchamek is the two-time K-1 World MAX Champion (2004, 2006). With 265 bouts behind his belt to date, he is riding a six-fight win streak. Last year “The White Lotus” added five victories to his resume.

His opponent at Kunlun Fight 69, Nayanesh Ayman (50-10-8, 24 KOs) is the replacement fighter for the previously announced Chinese star Hu Yafei. According to Mundo Deportivo Ayman resides in Madrid, Spain. He is known for his battle against Buakaw’s teammate Superbon Banchamek at KLF 65 last August.

Among other bout featured on the card at Kunlun Fight 69, Superbon Banchamek faces Ukrainian welterweight Sergii Kuliaba. Middleweight Vitaly Gurkov goes up against Chinese Zhang Yang, while his Belarusian-fellow Andrei Kulebin meets another representative of the country-host Gu Hui at super lightweight.

A highly anticipated women’s bout between French representative of WKN Top Team Laetitia Madjene and Chinese champion Wang Kehan fell off, after the latter withdrew from the contest reportedly due to injury. The updated lineup can be found below.
