STB 18 Poprad: three WKN titles at stake
Kickboxing World Championship returns to Slovakia on March 16 with Simply the Best 18 held at Arena Poprad. The event promoted by Lukas Bodyy features a ten-fight bill with three WKN titles contested on the night.
On Thursday World Kickboxing Network announced a complete fight card via Twitter. The program comprises kickboxing, boxing and MMA bouts.
The headline-bout is penciled to see Tomas Mozny up against Greek heavyweight Christos Soulas. A week before “Slovakian Giant” faces Czech Daniel Skvor at GLORY 51 Rotterdam, therefore his appearance at STB 18 is expected to be determined post-this fight.
The previously announced WKN European light heavyweight champion Vladimir Idranyi is set for the biggest challenge in his career when he takes on Dylan Colin of France. The pair battles out for WKN World super middleweight title.
Over the course of his career Dylan Colin defeated his French-fellow Eddy Lorora, Belgian Eduard Mircea, Polish Dawid Kasperski, among others. He makes his Simply the Best debut.
Also on the card Samuel Hadzima gets his highly anticipating rematch when he faces Belgian Tarik Mahillon. The pair first met last November at STB 17 Farciennes, with the bout ending in favor of local fighter. The doctor stopped the contest in the first round after Slovakian kickboxer received a cut. The Hadzima vs Mahillon 2 is scheduled for three rounds with WKN International lightweight title on the line.
In addition, the previously announced light heavyweight battle between Erik Matejovsky and Jozef Kolodzej is scheduled to crown a new WKN Slovakian champion. The change features super welterweight Pavol Garaj who is no longer featured on the roster. The current fight card can be found below.
