Sylvester Stallone: Creed 2 filming commenced
Creed 2 is expected on Big Screen this November. Here is a sneak-peek of the actual production with Rocky himself, Sylvester Stallone, who shared two new clips on his Instagram on Tuesday.
In the first video Sly is in front of the motor-home. Famed actor reminisces 42 years ago when it was on the back of a van. “So progress is being made.”
“You know the old cliché that it “seems like yesterday”, but it does and it’s a very exciting moment to be here getting ready to watch Creed 2 to commence filming,” Stallone wrote in the caption. “A very exciting day! The actors and production team has been waiting a long time for this film to start. So ladies and gentlemen get ready to watch the fists start flying.”
In the second video published a few hours later Sylvester Stallone appears inside the square circle. He outlines a great day in the boxing ring.
“We had a great day in the ring. Well, actually Creed had a great day in the ring,” he says. “I watched him, performing an incredible task. Bravery, skill, speed. This movie is taking off, exceeding my wildest dreams.”
Both videos Stallone concluded with his very popular “Keep Punching” saying.
Creed 2 continues the story-telling from the moment where the first film left off, featuring Michael B. Jordan who portrays Adonis Johnson. In addition, Rocky’s old foe Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren) is back in action, as well as his son, new character Vitor (Florian Munteanu). Sylvester Stallone as legendary Rocky Balboa is surely in the film.
