Jakub Ibl takes split decision against Alen Kapetanovic, becomes WKN Czech SHW champion
International kickboxing returned to Czech Republic on Thursday May 31 with the fourteenth edition of “Noc Valecniku” (Warrior’s Night, Eng.) held in Kladno. The event featured a ten-fight bill with two WKN titles contested on the top of the main card.
In the main event Alen Kapetanovic faced off his Czech-fellow Jakub Ibl. The pair battled out for WKN National Super Heavyweight title. The bout went the distance with the latter taking a split judges decision, consequently becoming a new champion in the division.
The highlight of the night featured Czech Tereza Dvorakova up against Austrian Christin Fiedler. The pair squared off in a three-round women’s kickboxing bout for WKN International Super Bantamweight title.
After three rounds of action the representative of the country-host was unanimously proclaimed as a winner by decision. As a result, Tereza Dvorakoa added a prestigious WKN belt to her collection, following Girl Power Kickboxing 4 held last October in Varna.
The WKN championship supervisor was Lukas Bodyy of Slovakia. The event aired on Sport 5 TV.
