UFC 225 hightlight
UFC 225: Whittaker vs. Romero 2 went in history as arguably the best fight card produced in the first half of 2018. The event was held on June 10 (June 9 in the US) at the United Center in Chicago, IL with two titles contested on the top of bill.
The main event featured Robert Whittaker taking a split decision against Yoel Romero, beginning the middleweight legacy in thriller. In the co-main event Colby Covington claimed the interim welterweight title, scoring a unanimous decision against Rafael dos Anjos.
The PPV card also featured Holly Holm, who earned a UPD against Megan Anderson, as well as Tai Tuivasa, who similarly defeated Andrei Arlovski. In addition, “CM Punk” (Phillip Jack Brooks) made his second appearance inside the Octagon, going up against Mike Jackson, who took the win also by a unanimous decision.
On Wednesday the promotion released a slow motion reel on YouTube. The clip gives an opportunity to take a look back at some of the highlights from the event.
