Muaythai beauty from New South Wales, Yolanda Schmidt has recently won the WKN Australian title belt in Perth.
South Africa born Yolanda Schmidt is living in Sydney, where she trains and fights out of PTJ Muay Thai Gym, run by Andrew Parnham. She is now set for her next fight venture which is announced for July 25th in Melbourne, where she faces Claire Foreman.
With the ring name glued as ‘The Springbok’, which is a national animal in South Africa known for its’ speed and strength, Schmidt has been fighting throughout Australia at popular fight nights like Nemesis, Rebellion, Kings of Kombat and others.
Among everything, last October Schmidt defeated Kimberly Law at the National Team selection on the Gold Coast, gaining the qualification to represent Australia at Muay Thai World Championship in Thailand this August.
Recently in Perth Schmidt defeated Emma Graham, taking the Round 3 TKO win via elbow along with the WKN lightweight title belt.
In Melbourne “The Springbok” takes on Claire Foreman in the Interstate female muaythai prestige challenge. In addition, there is a number of National and International challenges on her roster.
