Stephane Cabrera awards SuperKombat world champion Loren Jorge with the WKN title belt last night in Romania.
The WKN is the first federation in the history of Romania to ever sanction kickboxing World championship there.
SuperKombat World Grand Prix 2015 Final event was held last night in Bucharest, Romania. The gala has seen a 4 man kickboxing heavyweight championship tournament, a number of super fights, and the headliner of the show which produced a super-cruiserweight world title clash between Spain’s Loren Jorge and the representative of the country host Andrei Stoica.
Loren Jorge has made as much or as little, but an upset for the local crowd. It was all over on the third minute of the first round when the referee has stopped the fight. Three knockdowns have seen their action with Stoica being tagged, dropped and wobbly. Jorge has become a new SuperKombat super-cruiserweight title holder.
The president of the major kickboxing governing body the “World Kickboxing Network” Stephane Cabrera was invited as a VIP guest to attended the show.
This is where the main fight of the night has seen the winner of the “SuperKombat” world title Loren Jorge presented with the prestigious WKN championship belt.
