Four man kickboxing tourney headlines the WKN international kickboxing fight night on Saturday 16th April in Aarhus, Denmark.

The event is the following installment by the World Kickboxing Network of the 4 man tournaments. Last Saturday Slovakia showcased a European Grand Prix in Nitra where four international heavyweights challenged the title of European champion. This time the super-lightweight kick-boxers will take on each other aiming to earn prestigious WKN belt.

WKN World office revealed all the participants this morning. Kristian Borge Thomsen will represent the country-host, Denmark. Francophone Ilan Durand and Xavier Lejour will stand for France and Belgium. Marlon Bluhm will jet from Germany.

Denmark’s favorite Thomsen is originally from Grenaa. He has now been living in Aarhus, where he will fight in front of the home crowd. Frenchman Durand represents AJSR team that is a renowned group for hosting the knockout ‘Battle of Saint Raphael’ kickboxing shows in France. Lejour is fighting out of a famous Osman Gym in Belgium’s city of Charleroi. He trains under the guidance of Osman Yigin himself. German Bluhm fights for the pride of Hamburg. Particularly Bluhm broke the news last January when he received the WKN cake for his birthday.

The organizer of the event is a prominent promoter from Denmark Mohammad Tehrani. Among everything, Tehrani is known for installing the fifth edition of Bigger’s Better Boxing show live on Eurosport network back in 2011. He has also held the WKN kickboxing WGP in 2013 at the ‘Valhalla – Battle of Vikings’ fight night.

The semi-main event will see national kickboxing title fight with its participants yet to be revealed. The WKN championship supervisor on the show will be Klaus Hagemann from Germany. We will have more on this story as it develops.
