Powdrill is fighting on Wednesday 25th May in Beijing, China. The 79 kilogram six-rounder will see Australian star fighting an opponent who’s name is yet to be revealed. The actual reason, though, is that Powdrill has no detailed information on the contest. It causes no worries for him either.
Indeed, last year during the press conference ahead of the Broadhurst clash, Powdrill was questioned in regards to a previous Brisbane venture when Hooper went down. Perth fighter confirmed that he took the fight on a four days notice.
“I just go and do my thing, I don’t really worry about the other person” he said.
The research tells us that Powdrill is likely fighting in the undercard of Ruenroeng-Casimero rematch held at the Diamond Stadium in Beijing, China. We will have more on this story as it develops.
Robert Powdrill is a unique Australian who has achieved notable results in all fighting disciplines. To date he has represented the nation in France, Spain, New Zealand and Thailand.
“I have not ruled out muaythai, kickboxing or MMA,” he says.
“But at the moment I am focusing on boxing.”
