South American mega star Jorge Acero Cali presented Escobar in Octagon fight night on Saturday 16th April in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Escobar in Octagon showcased a combined Kickboxing and Mixed Martial Arts sports gala. Eleven-fight bill included nine stand-up and three MMA bouts. Knockouts, TKOs, submissions and technical points decisions entertained locals during the evening last Saturday night.
Promoter of the event, Jorge Acero Cali confirmed that he is still and always involved in the sport that taught him ‘some of the most notable values, such as a respect, honesty, healthy life style, partnership, solidarity and loyalty’. Those ones that he applies during his current political venture being a president of the city council in Escobar, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Cali is a former 4-time WKN world champion. He credits World Kickboxing Network and its’ president Stephane Cabrera for playing an outstanding role in his career. Cali has heartily promoted Escobar in Octagon event aiming to deliver the message of healthy life style, strength of mind, and of course loyalty and respect via combat sports.

Escobar in Octagon was this year’s already second edition of WKN events in Argentina. It followed Bosch Tour that went ahead last March. The next installment is set for June when Simply The Best world series will host eleventh edition on KOMBAT Sport.
