Carnage Diary: Perth Fight Night Complete

What a great weekend it was. Traveled to WA to be a guest and head official for the WKN title fights at Perth fight night ‘Nemesis’.

The weigh-in was full of current and retired legends of our sport from all over the country. It was truly amazing to see old and new faces together for the great of Muay Thai in the West, at Perth fight night.

Nemesis show was a great card. It had such a good range of fighters. It included three female bouts that were all so good to watch. The main card was full of new talent.

Out of the Queenslanders on the card we won two out of three bouts. We brought back two Australian titles to the East Coast.

Both main and semi-main event fights where strong with all rounds being fought. So a very good match up from the promoter.

Although it seemed the Frenchman didn’t quite have the power to challenge Toby, he certainly kept him working hard during the whole fight.

It was great to meet with all the fans at the fights and enjoy few pics and chats with them. I enjoyed the whole weekend and look forward to my return to the West again.

The highlight of the trip was, of course, to receive a special gift from the WKN. The gold family ring. I was told I am a pride, which is always nice to hear and be reminded.
