Tomas Mozny defeats Daniel Sam and Thomas Vanneste in the one night tournament on Thursday, 4th August 2016 in Saint Tropez, France.
Super heavyweight eliminator featured the WKN world championship Lidon vs Solaja at Fight Night Saint Tropez 2016. The vip event aired live on L’Equipe 21. Four fighters went ahead to find out who was the baddest man. Each brought over a hundred kilograms to the table. Tomas Mozny aka The Giant Slovak was reportedly the lightest on the card. However he was the tallest.
In the opening round Mozny faced Daniel Sam from England. The bout went on distance with the spinning-back kick sensation from Slovakia taking the win. The second semi-final saw Thomas Vanneste from Belgium fighting the heaviest on the card Daniel Perez from Cuba. Vanneste also took the decision.
As a result, the finale matched Mozny versus Vanneste. Their clash showcased everything. Indeed, from built to win attitude to a spectacular performance. Vanneste predominantly worked on the front foot targeting his power shots. The Giant Slovak moved sides aiming to keep his long distance as well as countered back.
Alongside heavy hits, the bout saw an extravaganza moment at the end of round one. Mozny went ahead with a series of punches followed by the left knee. Meanwhile Vanneste threw the left hook that resulted in flying of Mozny’s mouthpiece. The Giant Slovak still finished his attack with the kick, as well as was able to catch his mouthpiece.
