The two-event schedule is on to do list for eminent Tomasz Makowski to close out 2016.

Hands down featherweight Tomasz Makowski still is today’s first string kick-boxer from Poland. Over the years he has fought throughout the world, including Australia, and collected numerous titles of all ranks. In very deed, a former national champion, European and world title holder Maku has cemented his name in history. He certainly follows the steps of his master Cezary Podraza, who has won 7 world titles, as well as went in history of kickboxing as the first WKN world champion.

Rewinding few years back, it seemed that a tough luck was following Makowski for some time. In very deed, he faced a series of TKO defeats. The bouts in Belarus, Slovakia, Australia as well as his 2015 defense of the world title in Poland ended in devastation. However all of those stoppages were accidental resulting in injury. Whether it was the head-clash, he flew through the ropes or twisted his knee.

Nevertheless Makowski finalized last season victorious. He took a decision over Tomas Clincik of Slovakia last December. That was at the MFC9 fight night in Nowa Sol, Poland. He is certainly full of fight.

Although it’s been quite a while since last show the MFC 10 is happening in three weeks. Makowski Fighting Championship returns to the scene on Saturday, September 24 in Zielona Gora. The fight card reportedly includes four prestigious WKN title belts. This is the first box Maku has to tick off. He is the promoter of the event.

The following installment is an anticipated debut of Simply The Best in Poland. STB 13 comes to Nowa Sol on December 3 to showcase the world championship kickboxing. This is the second box Maku has to tick off. He is in the headliner of the show.

Indeed, Tomasz Makowski aims to reclaim the world’s leading role in his weight class. Despite the last year’s title loss to Roma, Maku is still the top 10 credited competitors in the division. He demands the title shot to prove wrong. We will have more information on the event as soon as it becomes available.
