Valentina Shevchenko Appears on FightBox Podcast

UFC women’s bantamweight fighter Valentina Shevchenko appears on FightBox Podcast episode 101.

Born in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan Valentina Shevchenko, 28, is a prominent competitor of Russian descent. In addition to her current 13-2 record in MMA, she has previously earned two victories in boxing. She has also declared the 58-2-1 in muaythai and kickboxing defeating the likes of Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Caley Reece.

Valentina Shevchenko is the number 2 ranked UFC women’s bantamweight fighter. She talks about growing up in Kyrgyzstan, her martial arts background, her next fight and more.

In the preview Shevchenko describes the shocking story of her coach, Pavel Fedotov, getting shot in Peru just before her UFC on Fox fight vs Holly Holm.
