Yodsanklai Fairtex defeats Sayfullah Hambakhadov on February 26 at Kunlun Fight 57 kickboxing promotion in China.
Renowned muaythai fighter Yodsanklai Fairtex stepped inside the ring for the first time in over a year. He indeed had some time off with his latest until now recorded bout against Russian Dzhabar Askerov in October 2015.
Thai star headlined the Kunlun Fight 57 event at the Mangrove Tree International Convention Center in Sanya. Although previously announced to face off Cedric Manhoef of Suriname Yodsanklai went up against a different vis-a-vis. Sayfullah Hambakhadov of Russia formed an opposition for muaythai celebrity.
Yodsanklai vs Hambakhadov ended prior the final bell. The image of a predominately even opening round has changed in the second. In twenty seconds of Round 2 Thai fighter scored a knockdown with the left cross. He then showed dominance performing the combos of heavy punches followed by the leg kicks.
At 1 minute 35 seconds Yodsanklai executed a series of uppercuts a la John Wayne Parr, which dropped Hambakhadov to the canvas. The corner of Russian fighter threw-in the towel giving a signal to the referee to stop the contest. As a result “The King of Muay Thai” returns to action earning the 195th win.
The rest of Kunlun Fight 57 results look as the following. In the first group of the 70 kg tournament Mohamed Mezouari earned a decision over Arman Hambaryan and stopped in the first round Danilo Zanolini. Andrei Kulebin scored the decision and eliminated Ali Makhi and Kong Lingfeng in Group 2.
Also on the night Law Chosing KO’d Krit in the first round with the punches. Wei Ninghui defeated by points Kompetch Fairtex. In addition Ye Xiang took the win by knockout in Round 1 against Steven Banks and Lin Qiangbang stopped Italo Freitas in Round 3.
