Muaythai promotion Thai Fight Turin is held on Saturday May 27.
Thai Fight Turin is an Italian debut of the famed muaythai promotion out of Thailand. Since 2010 the organization has hosted the events in various countries including Singapore, Brunei, Cambodia and Indonesia. Alongside Italy, the 2017 schedule also reportedly comprises the shows in England, Japan, China, Germany, France and USA.
Eminent Thai fighters Saenchai PKSaenchaimuaythaigym and Sudsakorn Sor Klinmee govern the “Dream Team”. Before the event in Italy, both partake in the Thai Fight Paris. French capital accommodates the gala on April 8. Saenchai is fighting Bobo Sacko while Sudsakorn is facing off Johane Beausejour.
The backbone of Thai Fight Turin is Thai Boxe Mania. The annual happening under the patronage of Carlo Barbuto is the most prominent muaythai promotion out of Italy. Since early 2000’s the events have produced numerous WKN world and European championship bouts. Some of the best in business, including Giorgio Petrosyan, Chingiz Allazov, Yuri Bessmertny and Andrei Kulebin, have been a part of it over the years. The most recent show was in January. Indoor sports arena PalaRuffini accommodates the event on May 27.
The fight card has not yet been officially revealed. However the organization posted on its website the profiles of eight well-known in muaythai circuits athletes. Saiyok Pumpanmuang, Denphanom Rongreankeela, Iquezang Kor Rungthanakea, Payak Samui Lukjaoporongtom Kromsappasamit, PTT Petchrungrueng and Tengnueng Sitjesairoon are shoulder to shoulder with Saenchai and Sudsakorn.
