World kickboxing champion Ondrej Hutnik takes part in Simply The Best 14 Prague

World kickboxing champion Ondrej Hutnik takes part in Simply The Best, series 14 on SFR Sport 5 on April 29 in Prague.

The 34-year-old Ondrej Hutnik (81-11-1, 25 KOs) is the first string super heavyweight kickboxer out of Czech Republic. He is the current WKN world champion winning the title at Dark Fights 4 last November in Marseille. This is where “Spejbl” caused an upset with a stunning spinning-back fist knockout victory against French star Farice Aurieng. In addition, in two previous bouts he has earned the notable victories against Catalin Morosanu of Romania and Nicolas Wamba of France.

Ridding the 9-fight winning streak Hutnik partakes in Simply The Best 14 Prague. Kickboxing European championship fight show is held at Top Hotel Prague on April 29. The event is an 11-fight program with 7 bouts in Kickboxing and 4 in MMA. Promoter of the gala is Petr Lamac. Coordinator is Lukas Bodyy of Slovakia. President of the World Kickboxing Network, Stephane Cabrera will be reportedly attending the happening.

The WKN world office has revealed the fight card on Friday. In the main event Matous Kohout of Czech is facing off Jente Van Hull of Belgium for the WKN middleweight title in K-1. Hutnik tops up the bill of the famed athletes on the card. He battles out shoulder to shoulder with the renowned Tomasz Makowski of Poland. The latter is going up against local Jan Holec in the super featherweight international bout.

“Spejbl” Hutnik is facing off the 19-year-old Rade Opacic of Serbia. Out of 16 victorious bouts, the two-meter super heavyweight, has claimed 11 victorious by KO. He is a WAKO world cup champion as well as the national and Balkan cup winner. The bout will go ahead at 3 x 3 minute rounds in K-1 kickboxing.
