WKN Kickboxing announces Dubai Fight full fight card

The VIP event Dubai Fight is held on May 4 at One & Only Royal Mirage.

Dubai Fight features on the program of the five-day VIP tour “Sport Games” from May 2 to May 7. The show¬†is a six-fight program. Two prestigious WKN kickboxing world championship bouts govern the bill.

In the main event France’s¬†Yohan Lidon is fighting¬†Patrick Vidakovic of Hungary. The French fighter is battling out in the second defense of his super middleweight title. In the co-main event¬†Karim Bennoui of France and¬†Antoine Habash of Hungary will challenge for the vacant super featherweight belt. Both contests¬†will go ahead at 5 x 3 minute rounds in oriental kickboxing (K-1).

The program also comprises two international bouts in Muay Thai. Well-known fighter out of Thailand Singdam Kiatmuu9 squares off with Rayan Mekki of France in the the super lightweight challenge. As well, Yodchai Yokkao Saenchaigym of Thailand is facing off Brandon Vieira of France in the featherweight encounter. The bouts are scheduled at 3 x 3 minute rounds.

In addition, the fight card includes two, 3 x 5 minute rounds, MMA fights in the heavyweight class. The WKN announced the matchmaking on Friday. Local competitor Mohammad Yahya (3-1) is taking on Mahmoud Mohamed (4-4) of Egypt. Also, Sofiane Boukichou (2-2) of France is fighting Mohamed Ali (10-11) of Egypt.

The promoter of the event is Eric Favre of France. The championship supervisor is Osman Yigin of Belgium, representing the World Kickboxing Network. The team of the WKN officials consists of Georgie Vojvoda of Hungary, Alexis Andre of France, Klaus Hagemann of Germany and Konstantinos Varvadoukas of Greece.
