European kickboxing championship headlines Simply The Best 14 Prague on SFR Sport 5.
Kickboxing series Simply The Best returns to Czech Republic on April 29. Top Hotel Prague accommodates Episode 14, which is the third edition promoted in the country.
STB 14 Prague fight card comprises eight bouts in kickboxing and four contests in MMA. Three prestigious WKN titles at stake. The World Kickboxing Network revealed a complete line-up on Tuesday.
On the top of the championship bill Matous Kohout (16-4-0) of Czech squares off with Jente Van Hul (35-4-1) of Belgium. The pair will challenge for the WKN middleweight European title in oriental kickboxing (K-1).
Furthermore, the current WKN super heavyweight world champion Ondrej Hutnik (87-10-2) of Czech faces off a Rade Opacic (7-1-0) of Serbia. The latter is noted as a new prospect in the division. As well, renowned super featherweight out of Poland, Tomasz Makowski takes on local star Jan Holec for the WKN international title.
In addition, three super heavyweight bouts feature on the program. Petr Vondracek (52-27-0) of Czech takes on all-rounder out of Poland Wieslaw Kwasniewski. Similarly Georgij Fibich (21-3-0) of Czech battles out again Moritz Schacht of Germany. Czech fighters Daniel Skvor and Jiri Stariat top up the roster of the heavy-hitters on the night.
Also on kickboxing part Daniel Brunclik (19-11-0) of Czech vs Miroslav Cingel of Slovakia in the 86 kg bout. As well, Mark Cupka of Czech vs Erik Matejovsky of Slovakia in the 81 kg encounter.
Viktor Pavlicek (3-0-0) of Czech is going up against Ivo Cuk (15-8-0) of Croatia in the 120 kg MMA encounter. The bout is for the WKN international belt.
Makhmud Muradov (9-6-0) of Czech vs Shota Gvasalia (9-3-0) of Georgia features on the MMA card in the 84 kg. Also, Czech fighters Robert Voves (3-1-0) and Alexandr Cverna (6-3-0) in the 120 kg MMA fight. As well, Miroslav Broz (3-0-0) of Czech vs Omar Amasha (1-1-0) of Germany in the 84 kg international MMA contest.
Promoter of the event is Petr Lamac. Coordinator is Lukas Bodyy. WKN World President Stephane Cabrera will reportedly attend the event.
