World Muay Thai Angels round 2 fight card comprises four fights

The 4-fight bill is set for the next round of World Muay Thai Angels.

World Muaythai Angels is the 16-woman eliminator. The concept is the 57 kg knockout tournament. To take all, the contender has to collect four victories during the period of the competition. The contest is the second season of the series launched in 2014 on Thai television. The series are held in Thailand and China.

The promotion has held the opening round on Sunday April 9 in Bangkok. Four out of eight bouts ended prior the final bell. The list of the eliminated participants includes Atenea Flores Pertegas of Spain, Polina Petrova of Russia, Tereza Dvorakova of Czech Republic, Zhang Jiao of China, Funda Diken of Turkey, Nicola Callander of New Zealand, Sung Jing of China and Fani Peloumpi of Greece.

The line up for Round 2 looks as the following

In the first quarterfinal the winner of WMA Season 1, Thai Chommanee Sor Taehiran is fighting Lucy Payne of England. Portuguese Maria Lobo is going up against American Natalie Morgan in the second.

In the third bout, another authentic representative of muaythai, Namtarn Por Muengpetch is battling out against South African Yolanda Schmidt. The fourth quarterfinal matches Jinnai Madoka of Japan with Sofia Olofsson of Sweden.

The winners of the first two bouts will face off in the first semi-final. The winners of the second two contests will square off in the second semi-final.

The promotion has not yet announced the date and place of World Muaythai Angels Round 2. We will have more information as soon as it becomes available.
