Kickboxing series Dark Fights start the second season

Dark Fights is an international series of kickboxing shows in France. The events airs on L’Equipe 21 and SFR Sport 5. Last year the organization produced four chapters in Lyon, Paris, Saint Tropez and Marseille with some of the most notable athletes featured on the roster. The man behind the scenes is Olivier Muller. The backbone is the World Kickboxing Network.

On May 20 the series is held in Paris, producing the second episode of Capital Fights at the 5.000-seat Halle Carpentier. French star Yohan Lidon appeares in the main event. Only on Thursday the current WKN World super middleweight champion defended the belt at Dubai Fight, and he is already scheduled for the following contest. The representative of Team Nasser K faces off his country-fellow Djibril Ehouo in the 3-round non-title fight.

Lidon was the character headlining the debut of Capital Fights when he battled out against Karapet Karapetyan of Armenia for the [vacant at that time] WKN title. The result has seen the Frenchman scoring the l’Equipe 21 knockout of the year, consequently winning a prestigious belt.

The announced Capital Fights 2 fight card also comprises two heavyweights bouts and the lightweight challenge. Pavel Voronin of Moldova takes on Daniel Sam of England. Also, Stephane Susperregui is up against Abderahmane Coulibaly. In addition, Eddy Nait Slimani squares off with Yannick Reine.
