TEKB 14 results: Wamba KO’s Kocjan, takes intercontinental belt

The fourteenth edition of “Trophy of Ephebe” was held on Saturday May 12 in Agde. Promoter Christophe Dragole presented his annual event at the Palais des Sports. The eleven-fight program featured French favorites up against international opponents.

In the main event Nicolas Wamba of France faced off Lukasz Kocjan of Poland. The contest was for the WKN Intercontinental super heavyweight title. The scheduled for three rounds championship bout ended prior the final bell. “The Junior” stopped his vis-a-vis out of Poland in Round 3.

In the semi-main event Jeremy Ragazzacci of France took on Vahid Mahdavi of Iran. The three-round bout was for the WKN International middleweight title. The representative of the country-host earned a decision, consequently claiming the belt.

Also on the main card Mickael Lopes Da Veiga defeated Bernard Tavernier by TKO in Round 2 of their super middleweight encounter. As well, Mohamed Alloune KO’d Yoni Mazeau in Round 1 in the heavyweight clash. In addition, Adam Ghaleb scored a decision against Matthieu Bernardet in the light heavyweight match.
