Kunlun Fight 61 Results – women’s kickboxing tournament semi-finals
French prominent kickboxer Laetitia Madjene took part in the Chinese kickboxing promotion Kunlun Fight 61 this past Sunday. The program of the event held in Sanya featured the semi-finals of the 61.5 kg women’s kickboxing tournament.
Fighting out of the Dynamite Center in Jacou, the representative of the WKN Top Team Laetita Madjene faced off Anissa Haddaoui of Holland. The three round contest went on distance. The verdict proclaimed the protegee of Michel Garcia and Cyril Chantereau as the winner by the judges decision. Consequently, Madjene qualifies for the final of the tournament.
“Win by decision in the semi-finale of the Kunlun Fight Munlan tournament. Very strong opponent. I won the fight in the last round. Thanks everybody for all. Dynamite-Center, WKN. On road to the final,” Madjene published post-fight on her page on Facebook.
In the second semi-final Wang Kehan of China was up against Anke Van Gestel of Belgium. The extra round was applied, with the representative of the county host winning the bout by decision. Kehan also earned the ticket to the ultimate round of the contest.
Laetita Madjene entered the Kunlun Fight tournament as a replacement for Anke Van Gestel in the quarterfinals last October. “Miss Dynamite” defeated Candice Mitchell of Canada. Wang Kehan defeated Korina Papachrysanthou of Greece and was meanted to face off Brazilian Juliana Werner. However the latter was replaced by the representative of Belgium who was placed back in the contest.
In summary, Madjene and Kehan will meet in the final of the tournament. The date of the event has not yet been announced.
