Kickboxing series Dark Fights starts Season 2

Kickboxing promotion Capital Fights 2 is held on May 20 in Paris.

The 5,000-seat Halle Carpentier in Paris accommodates Capital Fights 2 this coming Saturday. The event starts the second season of kickboxing series Dark Fights made-in France. The program is a nine-fight bill.

In the main event the three-time WKN World super middleweight champion Yohan Lidon of France faces off against his country-fellow Djibril Ehouo. The 78 kg non-title bout is scheduled for three rounds in K-1.

The semi-main event is the clash of the heavyweights. Nordine Mahieddine of France is up against Daniel Sam of England. Also at heavyweight Stephane Susperregui takes on Pavel Voronin of Moldova.

The rest of the card comprises the French fighters only. Eddy Nait Slimani meets Yannick Reine in the lightweight match. Hamza N’Goto and Johane Beausejour battle out in the super welterweight. In addition, Anouar El karkouri squares off with Sofian Bougossa in the lightweight encounter.

Dark Fights series air on French networks L’Equipe 21 and SFR Sport 5, with some of the most notable kickboxers featured on the program. Last year the promotion produced four shows in Lyon, Paris, Saint Tropez and Marseille. The man behind the scenes is Olivier Muller. The backbone is the World Kickboxing Network.
