Muaythai star Buakaw Banchamek partakes in kickboxing gala Kunlun Fight 62

Kickboxing promotion Kunlun Fight 62 is held on June 10 in Bangkok.

Kunlun Fight 62 is the first event of a popular Chinese promotion organized in Thailand in four years. The fight card is a large bill with some of the most notable Thai boxers up against international competitors. The semi-final bouts of the 70 kg tournament feature on the program. The first string of Muay Thai, Buakaw Banchamek battles out in the headliner of the show.

Buakaw faces off against Kong Lingfeng of China. The 72 kg bout is scheduled for three rounds. The contest is a rematch following their encounter in 2016 when the “King of Muay Thai” earned a unanimous decision.

The most recent bout of Buakaw was in January. He defeated Chinese Tian Xin by decision at Kunlun Fight 56 in Sanya.

Also on the card Singdam Kiatmuu9 of Thailand squares off with Gu Hui of China. Yodwicha Por Boonsit of Thailand takes on Dzianis Zuev of Belarus. As well, Superbon Banchamek of Thailand goes up against Artem Pashporin of Russia. In addition, Vitaly Gurkov of Belarus is fighting Nurla Mulali of China.

The previous Kunlun Fight promotion was held on May 14 in Sanya. Famed Yodsanklai Fairtex headlined the event partaking in the 70-kg semi-finals.
