UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs. Hunt
The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to New Zealand on Sunday June 11. The 12,000-seat Spark Arena in Auckland hosts UFC Fight Night 110: Lewis vs. Hunt. To date the promotion announced 10 bouts featuring on the card.
The headline event is a clash of the heavyweights. American Derrick Lewis faces off against New-Zealand born, residing in Australia Mark Hunt. In the second last bout Dan Kelly of Australia is up against Derek Brunson of the US.
This week the organization announced a change in the card. Warlley Alves of Brazil was pulled from the contest against Kiichi Kunimoto of Japan, reportedly due to an injury. Zak Ottow (14-4-0) of the US takes his spot to go up against Japanese fighter in the welterweight encounter.
Ottow is coming out of a split decision loss against Sergio Moraes last November. Although he won five of the previous bouts. This will be his third fight in the UFC where he currently holds the 1-1 record.
