Kickboxing promotion Kunlun Fight returns to Thailand.

Kunlun Fight is a Chinese kickboxing series established by Kunsun Media in 2014. The organization produced its first event in Pattaya. It has then held numerous shows in China as well as three more editions in Thailand.

An upcoming gala Kunlun Fight 62 is a fifth event organized at the birth place of the Art of Eight Limbs. The world’s ambassador of Muay Thai Buakaw Banchamek headlines the show facing off against Kong Lingfeng of China. In addition, Superbon Banchamek features on the card when he takes on Artem Pashporin of Russia.

Belarusian athlete Vitaly Gurkov tops up the bill of the notable kickboxers partaking in the event. Multiple IFMA muaythai world champion as well as the WBC super welterweight title winner in 2014 is up against Nurla Mulali of China. The latter is a prominent competitor who went up against such names as Vuyisile Colossa of South Africa and Thongchai Sitsongpeenong of Thailand among others.

In March Gurkov has undergone the training at Banchamek Gym in Bangkok. He returns to Thailand next month to participate at Kunlun Fight 62 shoulder to shoulder with his team mates Buakaw and Superbon.

The program of the event also features the renowned Thai fighters Yodwicha Por Boonsit and Kompetch Fairtex. In addition, the event holds the 70 kg tournament semi-finals.
