Muay Thai promotion CMT 10 is held on Friday August 4 in Brisbane.
Australian muaythai star John Wayne Parr is set for his next bout. He is fighting Jake Purdy of England in the main event of Caged Muay Thai 10.
Parr’s most recent bout was in April when he scored a knockout victory against Nando Calzetta, making his Bellator Kickboxing debut. The next is when “The Gunslinger” returns to origins competing in Muay Thai.
However there is a slight modification in the rules. The bouts are held in the Octagon and the fighters wear MMA gloves. This what Caged Muay Thai is about.
Purdy is an active competitor out of England. He is reportedly ranked No.1 in the UK. Undefeated on his home soil for over three years he has scored a record of 30-8-1, 14 KOs. Among everything he appeared in the ring of the popular Yokkao Boxing events.
The program of Caged Muay Thai 10 also includes Ghot Seur Noi of Thailand up against Chris Wells of New Zealand. As well, Matty Bune of Australia battles out against Sean Clancy of Ireland. In addition, Jesse James March and Branton Termine of Australia take on Liam Brough and George Smith of England.
