Boxing promoter Bob Arum tells TMZ that Pacquiao is ready to fight McGregor, if Mayweather fight falls through
The boxing bout between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor is still in works. The latter has signed his half of the deal.
The TMZ.com has recently posted a video with the Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum. When asked what advise the CEO of Top Rank would give to Dana White regarding how to make Floyd Mayweather sign the contract Arum advised to be patient and not give in.
“Be patient, don’t give in. Dana’s a good negotiator, and he’ll get the thing done. But he can’t be pushed around by Mayweather and his people,” said Bob Arum.
When asked if Pacquiao would step up to fight McGregor Arum first of all said that Pacquiao has the fight lined up in Australia. As well that he is scheduled for July 1 in the US. However he is “there” if McGregor is still looking for a match.
“Pacquiao got a tought fight, really a tought fight against this guy in Australia Jeff Horn. And after that fight on July 1st here in the United States.”
“If McGregor is still looking for an opponent, Manny Pacquiao is there.
