Kickboxing event Rebuy Stars Fight Night is held on June 3 in Kosice.
This Saturday international kickboxing returns to Slovakia. The group of the “Simply The Best” promoters Petr Lamac and Lukas Bodyy present “Rebuy Stars Fight Night” in Kosice.
The event dedicates to the return of Tomas Mozny. Headlining the show “Slovakian Giant” battles out against Alen Kapetanovic of Czech.
The program also comprises a series of prestige bouts. Furthermore two WKN titles will be contested during the evening.
In one of the international challenges the representative of the country host Pavol Garaj takes on David van Branteghem of Belgium. The super welterweight encounter is a three-round clash in oriental kickboxing (K-1).
Pavol Garaj (14-10-0) is a prominent competitor out of Slovakia. Representing Body Gym Poprad his highlight includes the 2014 win of the World Kickboxing Network welterweight title when he defeated Bulgarian Stefan Stankov. Moreover, a year earlier he appeared live on Eurosport, taking the WKN belt against France’s Steeve Valente at the Bigger’s Better Boxing, series 25. In addition, this March Garaj has made his debut at Glory Kickboxing.
David van Branteghem is an active kickboxer out of Belgium. He is also a professional boxer where to date he has collected the 2-3-1 record. Van Branteghem earned the victories against Mahamadou Traore and Tyson Mwinbi, among others.
The “Rebuy Stars” fight card also features an international contest with Slovakian Vladimir Idrany up against Petros Vardakas of Greece. As well, the representative of the country-host Vladimir Konsky battles out against Kevin Maertens of France for the WKN International super welterweight title.
Also, Samuel Hadzima and Lukas Mandinec challenge for the WKN Slovakian lightweight belt. MMA fighters Radovan Estocin and Alexandr Cverna reportedly partake in the event.
The show airs live on YouTube. The official weigh-in ceremony will be conducted on Friday.
