John Wayne Parr squares off against Jake Purdy
Caged Muay Thai 10 is held on Friday August 4 at Logan Metro Sports Centre in Brisbane. The event is an international program that showcases a hybrid sport of 4 oz gloves, Muay Thai rules in the octagon.
Australian Muay Thai ambassador John Wayne Parr headlines the event. “The Gunslinger” faces off against Jake Purdy of England.
The second bout from the top is an international clash between Thai-Australian Ghot Seur Noi and Chris Wells of New Zealand. The program also includes Matty Bune of Australia up against Sean Clancy of Ireland.
In addition, a representative of the country-host Jesse James March goes up against Liam Brough of England. As well, Branton Termine of Australia takes on George Smith also out of England.
On Friday the promotion posted the event teaser on its page on Facebook. John Wayne Parr also shared the trailer on his Twitter.
“4th of August will be back in the cage fighting full Thai rules, in mma gloves. Looking forward to testing my skills against Jake Purdy,” John Wayne Parr captioned the clip.
