Kevin Lee defeats Michael Chiesa at UFC Fight Night 112 on Sunday in Oklahoma City.
UFC Fight Night 112 was held at the Chesapeake Energy Arena. The event was a 13-fight bill with the main card comprising six bouts live on Fox Sports 1. It followed the preliminary cards producing a four-fight program on FS2, as well as a three-fight card streamed on UFC Fight Pass.
Scheduled for five rounds lightweight bout headlined the event. However the American clash between Michael Chiesa and Kevin Lee ended already in the first round. The latter produced a rare naked choke and the referee Mario Yamasaki stopped the bout at 4 minutes and 37 seconds. The stoppage has appeared as controversial. There was no tap from Chiesa, neither he was out.
In the second bout from the top Tim Boetsch took the second-round TKO victory against Johny Hendricks. Also on the main card Felice Herrig defeated Justine Kish claiming a unanimous decision.
As well, Dominick Reys defeated Joachim Christense by TKO in Round 1. In addition, Tim Means collected a unanimous decision against Alex Garcia and Dennis Silver took a majority decision against BJ Penn. Complete UFC Fight Night 112 results can be found below.
