Phenix Muay Thai 9: Fouquet vs Zubco for WKN European title

European championship headlines Phenix Muay Thai 9 on Saturday night in Trets.

Phenix Muay Thai 9 is an international gala showcasing a 14-fight bill in Southeast of France. The fight card comprises eight kickboxing bouts, four challenges in Muay Thai as well as two MMA contests.

In the main event French super cruiserweight Fabien Fouquet takes on Moldovan living in Italy Dragos Zubco. The bout is a rematch following their encounter last July when Zubco took the victory via the first-round TKO. Furthermore, the WKN European championship at stake.

Fouquet is known for his bouts against such fighters as Emanuel Payet and Correntin Jallon. Zubco made headlines earlier this year when he defeated Italian Lucian Danilencu winning the WKN International belt.

Promoter of Phenix Muay Thai 9 is Anthony Perrin. The championship supervisor is Habib Bakir, representing the World Kickboxing Network.
