Chinese kickboxing promotion Kunlun Fight makes its debut in France.

Famed Buakaw Banchamek is set for his next fight on Saturday November 11 in Paris. The happening is a debut of the Chinese kickboxing promotion “Kunlun Fight” in France. In addition, the event, held at the Stade Pierre de Coubertin arena, marks the sixth time when the King of Muay Thai out of Thailand appears in the country of high-fashion and world famous red wine.

In May 2006 Buakaw battled out at the “Grand Tournoi” promotion in Paris. The five-round bout against Morad Sari ended in a draw. In 2011 he took a TKO victory against Youssef Boughanem in Tours, as well as a unanimous decision against Djime Coulibaly in Cannes.

In 2014 Buakaw visited Monaco where he earned the second victory against Coulibaly, also by decision. The following bout was the same year in Paris, where the Thai fighter defeated Steve Moxon via the third-round TKO with elbow.

In the most recent bout in June Buakaw defeated Kong Lingfeng of China. The contest headlined Kunlun Fight 62 promoted in Bangkok.

The name of the competitor to go up against the Thai star in French capital has not yet been announced. The list of other fighters expected to appear at Kunlun Fight Paris includes Superbon Banchamek, Jomthong Chuwattana, Singdam Kiatmuu9, Saeksan Or. Kwanmuang, Artur Kyshenko, Davit Kiria. Meanwhile, this coming Saturday Kunlun Fight organizes its 64th event in Chongqing. The final of the 61.5 kg women’s kickboxing tournament is expected to feature on the program.
