World Kickboxing Network announces show in Serbia with Rade Opacic & Marina Spasic

Rade Opacic and Marina Spacic are expected at the WKN kickboxing promotion “Collision Fighting League” in September 2017 in Belgrade, Serbia.

International kickboxing returns to Serbia with “Collision Fighting League” held this September in Belgrade. The event follows the series organized by Nikola Pavkovic and Aleksandar Mitrovic. The group of promoters has previously held a successful K-1 World Grand Prix in Europe. It now starts working closely with the major kickboxing governing, the WKN, for matchmaking and championship sanctioning.

Heavyweight Rade Opacic and featherweight Marina Spacic are expected to battle out at the upcoming show. Both are the first string Serbian kickboxers in their respective classes.

Rade Opacic made headlines in February when he appeared in the main event at kickboxing series Simply The Best 14 Prague. “Razor” went up against Czech star Ondrej Hutnik in the WKN International super heavyweight prestige bout. The contest ended in the first round with the Serbian fighter claiming the first-round victory via knockout with a devastating head kick.

Marina Spacic is a female fighter known for her appearance at the woman’s kickboxing series Girl Power. She has first competed at Girl Power 2 Stara Zagora in February, earning a unanimous decision against Laura Follereau of France, and then going into a split decision defeat against the eventual tournament winner, also French Mallaury Kalachnikoff. At the next event, Girl Power 3 Sunny Beach held in June, Opacic also faced the eventual tournament winner Irem Akin of Turkey.

The exact date of the upcoming “Collision Fighting League” event, as well as the fight card are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. We will have more information as soon as it becomes available.
