Women’s kickboxing tournament Girl Power 4 airs on SFR Sport 5 on Friday October 13.
Girl Power is a series of women’s kickboxing tournaments produced by Bigger’s Better Boxing. The backbone is World Kickboxing Network. The series air on European network SFR Sport 5.
Each Girl Power contest features eight international featherweight competitors battling out in a format of the Olympic system tournament: quarter-final, semi-final, final. To take all the contender has to collect three victories during one evening. Prestigious WKN belt at stake.
The organization presented the Girl Power pilot on Pay-Per-View in 2014. Since 2017 the series are broadcast on SFR. Bulgaria has held two episodes produced in June and February.
To date the organization revealed the names of seven participants expected at the upcoming show Girl Power 4. The latest addition is a French-Romanian Andra Mihai (4-0-1).
Coach by Christophe Dragole in Agde, France, the representative of Masterkick (home of Nicolas Wamba) Andra Mihai is a former three-time champion of Romania. He resume also includes numerous national titles in Taekwondo, and also the world championship trophy at 2013 Shaolin Kempo Karate event. In addition Mihai’s tale of the tape features the 43-2 amateur record.
The current Girl Power 4 roster can be found below. The eighth participant, as well as the country accommodating an upcoming show is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
