Women’s kickboxing bout Kalachnikoff vs Spasic beautifies Fight Night Saint Tropez
Kickboxing VIP event Fight Night Saint Tropez celebrated its fifth anniversary this past Friday (August 4) at La Citadel. The WKN championship of the World has seen French star Yohan Lidon scoring the fourth-round knockout victory with head kick against the German contender Florian Kroger. Topping up the bill, French heavyweight Gregory Tony stopped American Bob Sapp in the first round. The list of attendees included French celebrities Marcel Campion, Vincent Lagaf, Jean-Luc Reichmann, Lord Kossity, Vincent Morisse, Guillaume Voiturier, Farid Khider, among others.
In addition, the women’s battle between French Mallaury Kalachnikoff and Serbian Marina Spasic became one of the highlights of the spectacle. Known for their appearance at kickboxing series Girl Power, the featherweights showcased an all-round technical bout during all three rounds of the clash.
A unanimous decision went in favor of the representative of the country host. Kalachnikoff has consequently claimed the second victory against her Serbian adversary.
The pair originally met in February, battling out in one of the semi-finals of Girl Power 2 Stara Zagora. The result of the first bout proclaimed the eventual champion of the tournament out of France as a winner via a split decision.
Kalachnikoff is scheduled for her next fight on September 9 at Battle of Saint-Raphael 5. She is facing off Czech Martina Jindrova in a challenge for the WKN European lightweight title.
Spasic is expected to appear at Collision Fight League on September 30 in Belgrade. Her opponent yet to be named.
