Simply The Best kickboxing returns to Argentina

World Championship Kickboxing returns to Argentina with Simply The Best 15 Tigre, held on October 1. The event is the fourth episode of Kickboxing Series in the country, and the first in the town just north of the city of Buenos Aires. It follows two seasons during which the WKN has held three shows in Caseros.

The fifteenth chapter was expected in Colombian Caqueta on September 9. However the organization announced its next event in the capital of South American kickboxing. The previous event was held late April in Prague.

A five-round super bantamweight world championship headlines the show. Argentine Federico Roma is announced to challenge for the WKN title in Muay Thai against an opponent yet to be named. Roma is also a reigning champion in oriental kickboxing, winning the belt via the fourth-round TKO against a former title holder Tomasz Makowski two years back in Zielona Gora.

The co-main event is a super lightweight world championship in oriental kickboxing. Niko Vega is a challenger representing the country host. The name of the second title contender is yet to be announced.

Also on the card an International lightweight title fight featuring local Pablo Roma against a yet to be determined opponent. In addition National championship is announced to top up the program.

The President of the World Kickboxing Network Stephane Cabrera is expected to attend the event. A former World Champion Jorge “Acero” Cali is announced as a special guest at the show.
