Simply The Best 16 Kosice fight card update

Kickboxing series Simply The Best 16 Kosice is held on Saturday October 14. The event held at Steel Arena is the second show in the city and the fourth “STB” episode in Slovakia. It follows three previous events accommodated at Arena Poprad.

The main event is a heavyweight bout featuring “Slovakian Giant” Tomas Mozny up against an opponent yet to be named. The fight card also includes the Muay Thai specialist Vladimir Moravcik facing off a competitor who is also expected to be announced shortly. On Friday the organization topped up the roster with several prominent athletes.

Former WKA heavyweight champion out of Czech Republic Petr Vondracek is expected to partake in the upcoming show. In his most recent bout in July at Yangames Fight Night in Prague he is victorious against German Neil Aquino via the second-round TKO. Vondracek twice appeared at kickboxing series Simply The Best headlining the fourth episode in 2015 face off French Nicolas Wamba, as well as battling out against Poland’s Wieslaw Kwasniewski at STB 14 Prague in April.

The representative of the country-host Pavol Garaj has been also added to the program. Simply The Best 16 Kosice will be his fifth appearances in the series, which includes the 2014 pilot in Poprad, where he defeated Bulgarian Stefan Stankov earning the World Kickboxing Network super welterweight title. His latest bout was in June when he stopped Belgian David van Branteghem in the first round at Rebuy Stars Fight Night.

Among others, the list of expected competitors at STB 16 Kosice includes MMA fighters Miroslav Strbak (14-6) and Tuslan Terpajow, kickboxer Georgij Fibich. The current line up can be found below.
