World Championships returns to South American capital of kickboxing with Simply The Best 15 Tigre held on Sunday October 1. The event promoted in terms of “Bosch Tour 7” is the fourth episode produced in Argentina, following three previous chapters held in Caseros.
The main event is a five-round battle for the World Kickboxing Network super bantamweight title between Argentine Federico Roma and French Tristan Gaetano. The co-main event is WKN Intercontinental lightweight championship featuring local Niko Vega, representing South America, face off Jeremy Nkoa of France, representing Europe.
The fight card also includes two WKN International title fights as well as women’s national championship. Earlier this week the organization added to the roster Damien Alcaraz, the current WKN South American bantamweight champion, who appears at the event in a battle against an opponent yet to be determined. On Sunday middleweight Guillermo Benitez was announced as the following competitors featured on the program.
Muay Thai fighter Guillermo “Hurricane” Benitez took part at several editions of Bosch Tour promoted during the last two years. His resume includes the bouts against such South American fighters as Cristian Yniguez, Pablo Caciullo, Alan Aguilera, Leandro Dapueto, among others. The name of his opponent at STB 15 Tigre is yet to be revealed.
The promoter of the show is Criatian Bosch. The championship supervisor is Fernando Munoz. The list of special guests includes WKN World President Stephane Cabrera and former World Champion Jorge “Acero” Cali.
