STB 15 Tigre: Five WKN titles at stake

Simply The Best 15 Tigre is held on Sunday October 1. The event is the fourth “STB” series in Argentina that marks a return of World Championship to South American capital of kickboxing. Promoted in terms of “Bosch Tour” the gala follows three previous episodes presented in Caseros.

A five-round super bantamweight bout in Muay Thai headlines the show featuring local Federico Roma up against French Tristan Gaetano for WKN World title. The co-headline bout is a lightweight championship with Argentine Niko Vega, representing South America, face off Jeremy Nkoa of France, representing Europe, for WKN Intercontinental belt. Also on the main card lightweight Pablo Roma and welterweight Martin Velasco battle out for WKN International titles, going up against the opponents yet to be named.

Argentine women’s national championship tops up the program of the five-fight championship card. On Tuesday the organization announced the first challenger, flyweight Florencia Greco. “La Leona” twice competed internationally, partaking in kickboxing events held in Uruguay and Mexico. Her quest on the home soil is a battle for the prestigious WKN strap. The name of her opponent is expected to be announced shortly.
