Marina Spasic faces Donatella Panu for WKN kickboxing title at CFL Belgrade

Spasic vs Panu for WKN International featherweight title

International kickboxing returns to Serbia with “Collision Fighting League” held on September 30 at Pionir Hall in Belgrade. The event promoted by Nikola Pavkovic and Aleksandar Mitrovic follows “K-1 World Grand Prix” the organization has held last October. As of this year the promotion works tightly with WKN.


Women’s kickboxing championship highlights the program. Serbian Marina Spasic takes on Italian Donatella Panu battling out for WKN International featherweight title.

The 23-year-old Marina Spasic (22-6) is known for her appearance at kickboxing series Girl Power. Her resume includes the battles against Turkish Irem Akin, as well as French Laura Follereau and Mallaury Kalachnikoff. Furthermore, in August she went the distance facing off the latter in a rematch at VIP event Fight Night Saint Tropez.

The 33-year-old Donatella Panu (40-17-2) is victorious over French Cindy Silvestre, Russian Irina Mazepa, Czech Alena Hola, among others. In addition she scored 1-1 in MMA, stopping her Italian-fellow Patrizia Gibelli in the second-round in 2015, and facing a defeat via submission against also Italian Mara Romero Borella in her debut made a year earlier.

Marina Spasic vs Donatella Panu for WKN International featherweight title is scheduled for three-rounds. The winner of International Championship earns the opportunity to challenge for WKN European title contested within five rounds at the future event.

The fight card at “Collision Fighting League” also includes Serbian heavyweight Rade Opacic (16-3) up against Greek Dimitris Vakakis (22-3). The super middleweight representative of the country host Zoran Grozdanic (3-3) goes up against Slovak Michal Helbich (29-6). As well, local heavyweight Mixed Martial Artist Darko Stosic (11-1) takes on Tomasz Czerwinski (9-14) of Poland.
