World Championship returns to Argentina with kickboxing series Simply the Best 15 Moreno held on October 1 at Believe night club in the city Moreno, Buenos Aires Province. The event promoted in terms of “Bosch Tour” is the fourth episode produced in the country, following three previous chapters presented in Caseros. The program features the leading South American athletes as well as European competitors, with five WKN titles challenged on the night.
Over the last several weeks the organization has been announcing the names of fighters and match ups featured on the program. On Tuesday the organization topped up the fight card with two bouts.
The most recent addition is the Argentine super featherweight battle between Tomas Aguirre and Pablo Orue. Both fighters make their “Simply the Best” debut battling out in the undercard.
As well, welterweight Mixed Martial Artist Jose Barrios (5-0-0) faces his Argentine-fellow Gustavo Rodriguez (3-3-0). The five-fight undefeated “El Terrible” Barrios headlined Bosch Tour 2 in Ituzaingo last July, winning via the second-round stoppage against Nicolas Ruiperez. “El Chino” Rodriguez is coming off the first-round stoppage against Lautaro Jesus Ayala scored last November in the main event at Invictus Fighters 15 in Salta. Both fighters also appear in the world series for the first time.
STB 15 Moreno is headlined by a five-round WKN World super bantamweight championship between Argentine Federico Roma (60-5-1) and French Tristan Gaetano. The co-main event is WKN Intercontinental lightweight championship between Argentine Nicolas Vega, representing South America and French Jeremy Nkoa, representing Europe.
